Garden in full bloom

Just had a random passer by knock on the door and ask what flowers we had in the front garden because they were beautiful. Didn't know what flowers he was talking about so went out and had a look. These photos are what he saw. Still wasn't able to tell him what they were!

NeighbourHood Watch

We have a very tight NeighbourHood Watch operating in our street! We try to get together once a year usually for a kids Christmas Party (where one of the neighbours gets dressed up as Santa) but this year with all that is happening we decided to have a BBQ.
George and Jenny from across the road came over, Losa and Colin from the left, Sheryl from over the fence, the new neighbours, Phillip and Sophie from the right, Stefan, Sinead and the kids from Cockle Bay and the neighbours Kev and Stella from up road. The kids played on the tramp, swam, and played swing ball. The adults drank, ate, talked, laughed and sang!! Yes the guitars came out and it was request time.
George sang a song to Phillip and Sophie who are heading back to China for their wedding soon.
Mike got the old LP's out and it was on!
Had a great night and looking forward to the next one.

Roll on Summer

Second day of the holidays and all Kalin wanted to do was to go for a swim. Even though the pool is a mere 16 degrees. So off came the clothes and in the pool! Then he shot off to the spa! When I asked him what the water was like he said "flipping freezing mum!" So then the fishing rod came out and off he went fishing in the boat.

Our garden

Today was the first nice day that we have had in ages. The kids were are their grandparents for the day so Mike and I decided to get our vegetable garden up and running.
We planted carrots, celery, lettuce, sweet-corn, broccoli, cauli, capsicum and strawberries. Hope we dont have too much rain or any frost otherwise our garden wont be to healthy!

Welcome

Hi,
I thought I would start up this blog to try and encourage Aaron to use the computer more for creating content rather than playing!!!
I am hoping that he will get interested in uploading things that he has been doing.
